(November 19, 2013) Enterprise, Ala. The Wayne Farms’ Enterprise poultry processing facility recently participated in a career fair at Enterprise High School. With close to 200 FFA students in attendance, Wayne Farms’ employees distributed company brochures and discussed potential employment opportunities with the attendees.

The National FFA Organization (formerly Future Farmers of America) was founded by a group of young farmers in 1928. Today, there are 579,678 FFA members, aged 12-21, in 7,570 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. FFA classroom activities include math and science as well as hands-on work experience. There are more than 11,000 FFA advisors and agriculture teachers.
