BRYAN L. MILLER
VP, QUALITY ASSURANCE & FOOD SAFETY
As Vice President, Quality Assurance and Food Safety, Bryan Miller is responsible for all aspects of food safety, quality and regulatory compliance for Wayne Farms. A member of the Executive Leadership Team, Bryan joined Wayne Farms in 2007 as Area Quality Assurance Manager. His oversight includes development and management of quality assurance programs extending across ten production facilities, including live production, product manufacturing, packaging and distribution.
Bryan’s emphasis on quality risk prevention and his expertise and contributions in the implementation of animal welfare and sustainability initiatives have been significant factors in the company’s success on several fronts, including increased production capacity, development of new products, adoption of enhanced animal welfare practices and meeting requirements for entry into the antibiotic free, NAE and all-natural retail and foodservice markets.
With 30 years of poultry industry experience, Bryan has worked in a variety of quality assurance, operations, animal welfare and safety management roles for companies including Seaboard Farms, ConAgra and Keystone Foods.
Bryan received his BSA in Microbiology and Master’s and Ph.D. in Poultry Science from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the US Roundtable for Sustainable Poultry & Egg Framework committee and past chairman of the National Chicken Council Technology and Regulatory Committee. Bryan and his wife are co-founders and board members of Chosen for Life Ministries, a church and community centered support program for adoptive and foster families and children. His strong foundation of faith, family and community service reveals a leadership approach of service above self by enabling others to be successful in professional or personal pursuits.
