Our chickens are raised on farms operated by independent family farmers. Most of these farms have been passed down for several generations. In fact, 75 percent of our family farmers have been raising chickens for Wayne Farms for over 10 years, while 50 percent have been with us for more than 20 years. Each private farm cooperates fully with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and takes pride in their responsibility to raise healthy and happy chickens in a small farm way.
